Key Role: Develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of advanced systems requirements and problems. Plan, conduct, and technically direct projects or major phases of significant projects, coordinate the efforts of the technical support staff, and organize the performance of assigned projects. Review the completion and implementation of system additions or enhancements and make recommendations to management. Provide technical consultation to other organizations and work leadership for lower level employees.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: -Experience with the systems engineering life-cycle activities for IT programs or Military systems and model-based systems engineering -Experience with broad engineering -Experience with software systems -Experience with analysis, report generation, and presentations and proposals -Ability to organize and execute systems engineering and integration (SE&I) programs in high technology projects -Ability to generate or evaluate systems engineering documentation across multiple disciplines -Ability to prepare presentations on systems engineering topics in project and proposal settings -Ability to mentor junior staff and build project teams -Ability to obtain a security clearance -BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications: -Ability to work with teams and customers in challenging projects using multiple contractors, academia, and government organizations -Ability to present systems engineering status, analysis, and findings to customers and clients in formal meetings -Possession of excellent relationship management and organizational skills -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills -BA or BS degree in related Engineering technical field
