Job description & RequirementsPrincipal Electronics Engineer - Skills:

Experience will have been gained in at least two of the following schemes:

.DC/DC Converters
.AC/DC Supplies
.AC/AC Converters
.DC/AC Inverters
.3 Phase Motor Control Inverters
All at power levels between lOOW and lOKW.

As Principal Engineer he/she will be responsible for providing engineering solutions that meet both strict internal and customer standards whilst mentoring and developing other engineering staff.

The candidate will provide technical leadership in the area of military and aerospace power
electronics. She/he will be skilled in the design, test and manufacture of products such as
Power Inverters, Converters, Amplifiers and Motor Controllers.

As principal engineer, the candidate may be assigned as lead engineer on specific projects. In this role he/she will be responsible for making technical decisions, ensuring that other
engineers are clear in their priorities and working alongside the Project Manager to ensure the project is on time and to budget.
The candidate will ensure that excellent communications are maintained with other groups
across the business so as to maintain a professional image and develop confidence in our
engineering abilities.

As Principal engineer he/she will be responsible for creating, maintaining and approving documentation generated in line with the companies Hardware Development Process.
