1. Responsible for working on major failure modes that affect product yield and quality (both internal and external) 2. Determine how drives fail at customer qual systems and work solutions 3. Understand factory test process, test oven performance and responsible for product test time improvement 4. Problem solving, conducting product improvement projects and tracking product issues to closure 5. Liaise with various group/organization to identify product related issues and provide effective solution
Qualifications
1. Bachelor/Master in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
2. Strong knowledge in drive with at least 5 years of relevant experience in HDD industry
3. Good analytical skill and strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics
4. Experience in drive failure analysis and good understanding of disc drive operations is essential
5. Knowledge of process control and data mining is preferred
6. Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight project schedule
7. Good knowledge in Visual Basic, Matlab and JMP would be an advantage
