Parsons to Sponsor Oman Construction Summit 2011


PASADENA, CA (January 28, 2011) – Parsons is pleased to announce that it is serving as associate sponsor of the Oman Construction Summit, which is dedicated to discussion of construction projects and investment opportunities in Oman. The event will take place from January 30 – February 2 at the Grand Hyatt, Muscat, Oman.

In addition to sponsoring the 3-day summit, two Parsons employees will speak at the event. Dr. Stephen Mayer, Parsons Market Development Manager, will give a presentation on “Balancing the owner’s and concession interests in Public-Private Partnerships.” Alex Seid, Parsons Program Manager, will participate in a panel discussion entitled, “Preparing the design and construction of Duqm Airport.”

Other event speakers will include ministry officials, leading company representatives, and industry experts. The event organizers are Global Exhibitions & Conferences (GEC) and International Quality and Productivity Centre (IQPC).
