Help with performing Searches:
 
Search strings - are not case sensitive
 
Examples:

• "signal designer" - will search for that exact phrase - ideal when searching for particular Job Titles
• signal AND designer - will search for documents that contain the words signal AND designer within the text 
• signal OR designer - will search for documents that contain the words signal OR designer within the text
• signal AND NOT designer - will search for documents that contain the word signal BUT NOT the word designer within the text  

Help with writing a CV:
 
Imagine: a Recruiter with 30 CVs to look at before they are due to go into a meeting! The chances are that they won’t look at every CV in detail, but instead scan over the text to see if something catches their eye.

• The trick is to produce a CV that is easy to read.
• Try using bullet points – they help to keep the CV focused and to the point and they are also much easier on the eye than one or two long paragraphs.
• Pack the CV with snappy information concerning the projects you have been involved with; your responsibilities and successes; project values etc..etc...
